Evaluations

Share the Public Wholesaler Link

Sometimes a buyer prefers to see the unit in a browser rather than read it in a text. Every evaluation has a public link for exactly that.

Every evaluation has a public link a wholesaler can open in their browser, with no account, to see the full unit: details, photos, and the Carfax link if you attached one. Your text already points to it, and you can also copy and share it directly.

It is the buyer-facing view of the unit: the decoded details, the photos you added, and a clickable Carfax report if one is on the evaluation. It is the full picture a wholesaler needs to put a number on the vehicle, with no login required.

The dealer view of an evaluation in Vehicle Fair Trade

It is the same destination your SMS to wholesalers points at. If you want to share a unit another way, by email or in a chat, copy the public link and send it. Same view, same unit.

Buyers do not need an account

A wholesaler opens the link and sees everything they need. There is no app and no signup. Their reply still comes back to you as a text, and the offer attaches to the evaluation. The public link is the buyer-facing view; your own dealer view, with the bids and your notes, stays separate.

FAQ

Do wholesalers need an account to view the unit?

No. The public link opens in any browser without a login. That is its purpose.

What’s on the public view?

The vehicle’s decoded details, your photos, and a link to the Carfax report if one is attached. It is what a buyer needs to bid.

Is the public link the same thing the SMS sends?

Yes. The text you send to wholesalers points at this same public view. The link simply lets you share it another way as well.

Will buyers see my notes or the other offers?

No. The public view is the buyer-facing unit. Your private dealer view, with the bids and internal notes, is separate.

How do they send an offer back?

The same way as always: they reply by text, and the offer attaches to the evaluation.
